The Embassy of India, Manila celebrated the ITEC (Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation) Day 2019 on 28 February 2020 at India House in Manila.

Ambassador Jaideep Mazumdar visited the Solar Mamas or Solar Lolas as they are called in the Philippines.

The 3rd India-Philippines Joint Defence Cooperation Committee (JDCC) Meeting was held on 31 January 2020 at Dusit Thani Hotel, Manila. The Indian side was led by Mr. Bharat Khera, Joint Secretary (Planning), Ministry of Defence of India and the Philippines side was led by Mr. Teodoro Cirilo T. Torralba III, Assistant Secretary for Assessments and International Affairs (ASAIA).

Various Cultural programs depicting the vibrant Indian culture were organised during the occasion. H.E Ambassador Jaideep Mazumdar attended the event and encouraged participants. The event was attended by Indian community and friends of India.

The 2nd ASEAN-India InnoTech Summit was held on 20-22 November at the SMX Convention Centre, Davao City. The event was graced the Ambassador of India to the Philippines, H.E. Jaideep Mazumdar as the keynote speaker.
