The Embassy of India, Manila in coordination with the University of Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) is organizing the first ever India-Philippines Agri-Mechanization Summit (Opportunities for India-Philippines Industry-Academe Linkages towards Food Security in the Philippines)  on 23 November 2021 from (1:00 PM-4:00 PM). The Manila Times is the social media partner for this summit. The conference will be live on the facebook page of UPLB (https://www.facebook.com/UPLBOfficial )

The conference will be graced with the presence of H.E. William Dar, Secretary of Agriculture; H.E. Shambhu S Kumaran, Ambassador of India to the Philippines; H.E. Ramon S. Bagatsing Jr Ambassador of the Philippines to India; Dr. Jose V. Camacho Jr, Chancellor,  University of Philippines Los Baños; and Mr. Danilo V. Fausto, President, Philippine Chamber of Agriculture and Food Inc. (PCAFI). 

The conference is structured to be outcome oriented with participation of major stakeholders from both India and Philippines as resource speakers and participants. This outcome driven summit aims to promote greater participation in each others shared journey of prosperity through sustained agricultural growth and enhanced food security through agri-farm mechanization.
