NOTIFICATION WITH REGARD TO WITHDRAWAL OF PIO SCHEME

This is to intimate that vide Gazette Notification No.26011/01/2014-IC.I dated January 9, 2015,
all PIO cards issued till 9.1.2015 are deemed to be an OCI card. PIO scheme has been withdrawn vide
Gazette Notification No.25024/9/2014-F.I dated 9.1.2015.
Henceforth, only applications for OCI card would be accepted and processed as PIO card scheme
is no longer in existence
