President Ram Nath Kovind of the Republic of India pays his respects to the Philippine national hero, Dr. Jose P. Rizal, in a wreath laying ceremony at the Rizal Park in the City of Manila on October 18, 2019.

President Kovind is in the country for a five-day State Visit. After the ceremony, the Indian leader is set to meet with President Rodrigo Roa Duterte in a series of events at Malacañan Palace.
